You can get silver conductive paint to mend the gaps - but if there
are a lot of them it can look pretty untidy afterwards.

A hell of a lot easier!

Not really. The miriad of little screws hold the aluminium strips in,
and the glass is bedded on sealant. With the retainers out of the way
it will push out - but be gentle and apply pressure as evenly as you can.

On vehicles up to 1A999999 there is no gasket as such (there is a glazing
strip from 2A622424) so the "rubber" you can see is the sealant.
> Are there any other bits and pieces you need to do the job.
Only some silicone sealant. If you have been careful the aluminiumn
strips are re-usuable.

Just remember that glass is flexible, and pushing to hard will crack
it.

Yes, it can be sent by courier, Part No. MTC8159D

I'll try that again.......
The glass may or may not have sealing strip (Part No. 78159)
on pre 2A000000 vehicles, and the part no. for the glass
is MWC4713.
More coffee required........
