On my M reg Defender H/T the heated rear window is almost defunct in
that only about two of the cross wires actually demist.
I see new  glass are available so I was toying with the idea of
replacing it.
I have however no experience of such things so would appreciate all
advice from you more knowledgeable guys in the group please.
I saw a recent thread about the trials and tribulations of replacing a
front windscreen but hope the rear one might be easier.
It looks as if you undo endless little screws and it falls out- or is
that wishfull thinking.
But then would you replace the rubber type gasket on the outside.What
is that called/part no/sources please.
Are there any other bits and pieces you need to do the job.
Are there any tricks of the trade or traps for the unwary in the
taking out of old and putting in new.
Any more general or specific advice that I haven't even thought of
would be most welcome.Many thanks.
Finally any help with where to souce the glass and associated bits I
would also appreciate.(Can the glass be sent by post/courier?)
