Ok I managed to loose a bolt. It's the one on the V8 which holds the Dip
stick clamp and actually fastens into the one off head bolts.

Any one know what it is? Can't find it on my parts lists.

Is it 255202 - holds 614585 clamp in place? Shown on the cylinder
block page of the SIII manual.

The bolt is a 1/4" UNF, IIRC, about 3/8" long or so.

It's a Land Rover only part - I can get one, but from Austin's reply
it's nothing special - I expect I've got something in stock,
somewhere..........

You going to the AGM?

If so, I'm pretty sure Warren will know - and have a spare...

Sadly not, I'm on Earlies and can't get out of it, have tried. I did want to
go this year and would like to commit some time to help but shifts tend to
clash with RL outside of work :-( I've been toying with a number of 9-5
posts recently but I still find that generally 6 on 4 off works out better
for tinkering and causes less upset meaning everyones a winner... I think.

At this time of year you have more chance of seeing some daylight if
you dont work 9-5 every day!
