1. N reg. Disco XS 300TDi - is there a way I can visually check if this
has had the cambelt mod that is talked about for this model?

2. Does anybody know of a worthwhile warranty company that will give a
warranty on vehicle above?

3. Is an RAC/AA inspection worth the money? Are there other
organisations that do these checks?

4. Anybody here from County Durham who has years of experience and will
come with me to check a Discovery out - expenses paid?
cheers
Gary

(As you might be able to tell, I've found a car I really like the look
of, but don't know enough to decide if I'm getting a lemon)

In theory, it should have a patch of yellow paint applied to the cover.  But
that's only if it was done by a dealer and they did so.

waste of time, I reckon, from my experience of used "warranties" - it's
basically mechanical breakdown insurance, and there were so many exclusions
on the one I had as to render it worthless.
