Sounds like a great deal. I've heard of no problems with the dash but you
try to make a deal with the seller to getr you spare from a wreck as a part
of the dea.

The vehicle pictured actually first went on sale in the USA as a 1997 model.
There have not been the rash of problems with the dash lights like on the
older LS400's

I have a 1992 ES300 and the dash is almost completely dark. The needles
went dark mostly long ago. The last needle went dark a month or so ago
(the tail end of the fuel guage.)
Even the back lights have gone out, making reading the speed, rpm, temp,
or fuel level via silhouette even impossible.
Now I either go by feel, speed of traffic, or I lean way down and can
just see what's going on in there.
Note that this does not affect any indicator warning lights (e.g., low
fuel, too hot, brakes, door ajar, etc., only needles and backlighting.)
Still the best car I've ever had.

PR!
I personally think you are making a big mistake importing a vehicle from
Trust Company Ltd. I suggest not to use them as they don't deliver what they
show or what they say...
I totally disagree with this, my friend has purchased a Toyota Hiace from
japanesevehicles.com (Trust Co. Ltd). He was told the vehicle is in very good
condition and has no damages at all (The price were little high but the
vehicle was good in the pictures). When he received the vehicle the Pressure
plates was broken, damaged and stripped threads in flywheel, Gear box full of
grease and considerable amount of rust…
NO DISCLOSURE FROM TRUST COMPANY PRIOR TO PURCHASE
How could their Technicians miss the rust? Either there was no inspection,
their inspectors are blind or Trust Guys knew of the damage and just chose
not to disclose. I'm not seeking another vehicle, but if I was would not do
business with a Company I do not trust.
