Hello all,
This is a general question, but since I am buying a Lexus very soon, I
thought I'd ask the question in this forum.
When do the KBB values change for a given model year ?
I am considering a 1999 GS400, so I want to make sure I don't overpay
right now.
I don't mind waiting for a couple of months, if the KBB values will
change over the course of this month.
Any thoughts or answers ?
Cheers !

IMHO, Kelly Blue Book values are stacked in favor of the dealers and should
not be used to compute the value of any car. I work in the Legal profession
and they use NADA. www.nada.com Most of the time, Kelley's dealer prices
are high, and the trade in values are very low.

NADA and KBB values change based on market conditions, not model year. Used
vehicle prices obviously tend to decline with age and will tend to creep
downward with each issue.

A 10 year old isn't likely to depreciate much (further) in just a few
months.
