Does anyone know how to overide the GPS system in an ES 300 2002 so the
passenger can use it while the car is in motion? Thanks

Try this.  It works for my 2002 GS430.

Hit the menu button. Go into the menu that says DVD version.
Tap the screen anywhere.
Tap top left.
Tap bottom left.
Tap top left.
Tap bottom left.
Tap bottom right.
Hold down the overide button until it is selected.
Don't play with anything else in this menu.
Hit back to exit.
You will have to do this every time you start the car.
