I was told to check the connections at the transmission control module to
possible correct a shift solenoid E problem.
Comes on now and then. I disconnect the battery and reset the computer and
the lights go off. Sometimes they stay off for a week or two and them other
times maybe a day. I'm tired of constantly resetting the computer to make
the lights go out. The car shifts fine and runs great.
I go through car washes and the bottom of the car is flushed with water as
part of the wash. It  could be a connector problem so I'm willing to look at
that.
Now, where is the TCM located on a 1999 ES300?
I called the dealer and the parts person couldn't find it in 20 minutes and
then put me on hold.
I'll skip them.

Look behind the glove box or behind the passenger side kick panel.
