Not that the average American Lexus buyer could give a damn, but Toyota's luxury division has singularly failed to gain traction outside the U.S. market. Which is exactly the point: Americans are far less bothered by issues of provenance (i.e. or lack thereof) than any other developed automotive market. Business Week reports that the analysis applies to Lexus' home turf. "When Toyota (TM) introduced its Lexus brand in Japan three years ago, the company was hoping drivers like Masayoshi Haku woul...

1. Learn to use carriage returns.
2. So what?  Europeans look at Mercedes the same way.

Lexus was designed with American drivers' preference in mind. You
know, the soft Buick ride. It's going to be a long and difficult
turnaround for GM, so if you need a Buick before then just buy a
Lexus.

Mercedes, BMW, and Mini have the "heritage factor" that's important
with the picky Japanese customers that Lexus simply can't match.

And how in the f.ck would YOU know THAT?  You Japanese? That's
the biggest line of hogwash I've heard yet.

And BEING Japanese and LIVING in Japan, I can tell you your full of
sh.t.

How do I know? Reading business news of course. Just because you are
live in japan doesn't mean you know squat. For all I know, a little
dimwit like you you may actually be living in a mental institution.

You stupid dumbfuck.  And from that article you derived that there's
some "heritage factor" for European cars?  What stupid sh.t is THAT?

EVERYBODY prefers to buy cars from another country!  DUH.  Taxis in
Europe are Benzes for christs sake.

Are you naturally retarded or did mommy drop you on your dumbass
pumpkin head by mistake?

Max I must certainly compliment you! You state you are Japenese and
live in Japan. Yet you have a command of the English vernacular which
is amazing! Now if only your fellow Japanese Lexus engineers were as
good at designing cars as you are at swearing ....
