1999 ES 300 136K miles and the door locks stopped locking automatically when I put it in gear. Replaced key fob battery and the auto locks stopped working. Don't know if that means anything. Fob will lock and unlock the car. The locks work manually no problem. Trunk and gas lid work fine also. Any suggestions? The guy has a problem and is looking for help. He wasn't whining at all. Do you even know the difference between asking a question and whining? My approach is to take it to the dealer and let them fix it. But glGa (or is it Glga, or glga) will perceive his question as endless griping and suggest that he replace it. In fact, it seems like a perfectly reasonable question to me. Did you get the nuance there? It was a QUESTION, not a rant about how Lexus should be run out of town. QUESTIONs are OK. RANTs are not.
