Once again, Chicken Little comes running with the bad news, implying
that this is a Lexus problem.

From http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/090105/auto_sales.html

"Every major manufacturer reported drops of more than 30 percent in
December. Leading the largest year-over-year drop since the Arab oil
embargo days of 1973-74 was struggling Chrysler LLC, which sold 53
percent fewer vehicles than last December and 30 percent fewer in 2008
than in 2007."

Didn't you think it was relevant that this was an indusrty-wide
phenomenon, john? Did you think any readers of this newsgroup might
not have access to a newspaper or a television in the last six months
or so, and wouldn't be aware of the economic climate?

What exactly is your motivation? Why does it delight you to see bad
news about Lexus, or think it's your responsibility to continually
berate Lexus, and educate Lexus owners in this group about the poor
choice they've made?

And finally, though I know you won't answer - what do you drive, john?

In other "what does this have to do with Lexus as a brand?" news,
here's BMWs results:

BMW Brand Sales
Sales of BMW brand vehicles decreased 36.1 percent in November for a
total of 15,217 compared to 23,808 reported in the same month a year
ago. Year-to-date BMW brand sales were down 12.3 percent, to 231,053
vehicles compared to 263,596 vehicles sold in the same period in 2007.
