Hi, I recently got a card from Lexus saying there is a new NAV DVD
available. The version is 8.1. I have a 2002 ES300 and a 2006 LS430,
both with NAVs.

Is it just a simple matter of purchasing the DVD disks from Lexus and
putting them into the car, or is there more to it?

Also anyone know how to reset the Maintaince Required light on the
LS430?

Thanks

If memory serves:
LS: you have to unbolt the bracket that holds the nav unit down (unit
is on the right side of the trunk under the floor panel) in order to
tilt up and access the eject button and slot.
ES: nav unit is underneath a plastic cover in the trunk that hangs
down from under the package shelf.
