The system has five settings: each requires a PassKey entry of 1212.
The five settings are: Hands Free; Bluetooth Hands Free; Wireless
Hands Free; Advanced HF System; and
Integrated Hands Free.

The Lexus website has notified me that their Bluettoth installation in
my case is not able to accomadate an Apple Ipod. :)

The other option is to go with a vaistech soundlinq sli2 up kit which
gives you a direct link to your sound system, and full iPod controls
if you have a nav system.
