This is Turtle.

I don't post any here but i need a tip on what the problem is with this thing.
The Lexus LS-400 1990 runs like a charm, Does not miss, and works good but when
it idles it roames from 500 rpm to 1,000 rpm. It never misses at all but just
real smooth roams up and down very slow. I have cleaned the butter fly with
electric cleaner inside and the electrical head that attached to the choke
butter fly to make it idle up and down for cold mornings. No effect.

And yes i have a Mechanic working on it but it's a small town and choices are
limited. No one here has a computor thing to attach to the car to get a read
out. There is a town about 60 miles away where they have all this stuff at
Walker Old and Lexus dealership in Alexandria , Louisiana . I need to know which
one of these parts is the problem. if it is the whole butter fly head , electric
head attaching to it, or what every that will cause this problem. cost is not
the problem but which part is the problem. I really did not want to change the
whole engine to get to the problem. New Air filter, Plugs, and wire have been
changed also while having the problemand no effect.

Now the problem started when i washed down the engine with a water hose while it
was running. yes I know Dumb but Hey I'm Me. It has been a week of running it
and everything should be dried out by now. I like this old car but should bu a
new one but you know how a fellow gets about something he likes.

Anybody have a ideal ?

This is Turtle again.

The idling of the engine levels out and idles very good if the air conditioning
is running. Turn the air conditioner off and it will start messing up again.
