(1) MIATA  '91 - A/C

QUESTION: Where can I find the A/C drain hose to inspect if its blocked.

QUESTION:  How do I unblock it?

QUESTION:  Any web sites with photos?

(2) I'm getting some screech sounds that could be from the compressor and/or
the radiator electric fan(s). One electric fan is on all Miatas, and the
second one is for A/C installed Miatas, only.

QUESTION: Can the two electric fans, on the radiator, be removed, inspected,
and tested without having to remove the radiator or anything else?

QUESTION: What event(s) would cause these electric fans to separately
engage?

QUESTION: Can the belt on the magnetic clutch, which drives the compressor,
be replaced? Also, is it an easy or tough job to do?

Thanks,

Pat

It is under the glovebox area. Pull the hose off and be prepared to catch
some water if hose is indeed blocked.

> QUESTION:  How do I unblock it?

I would use compressed air to blow the debris out of the hose.

> QUESTION:  Any web sites with photos?

Might try Miata.net  garage section. Almost any question can be answered in
either the garage section or their forum.

I had a screeching sound on my 91A and it was the AC belt needed to be
tightened a bit.

Think one fan will run when coolant temp gets high enough and the other will
turn on with the air conditioning. I know this is documented in the
Miata.net garage section.
