I offered a used car salesman $13,500 for a 2001 Dark Blue Miata LS, 53,000
miles.  The car was in very good condition except for the tires.  It also
had a roll bar installed.  He wanted 14,500.  I passed.  What do you think?

There are better deals out there. Tell the salesperson to toss in tires and
offer him 13800 and seal the deal with him. Used car sales have very big
margin out there. Chances are they got it on an auction for 8-9000 . I used
to be in the business on the finance end and would often see 3000 profit
from a deal
