I would like to use my portable GPS in my 2004 Miata but manual says to use
the cigarette lighter for cigs and nothing else. Does anyone know a work
around for this problem????

Thanks in advance.

I use HP PDA w/BT GPS receiver.  Connection for EVERYTHING that need it
is with AC/DC converter -- that plugs into cigarette lighter - with
space for 3 plugs.  Much simplier that shuffling all the all the
cigarette lighter plugs.  The converters are available at auto parts
places, Wal-Mart, etc.
