Bought 95 mazda miata. Seats have speakers the stock radio was replaced by
a sony by past owner. The seat speakers not working or not hooked up. Has
anyone had any experience with getting seat speakers working?

You'll have to check to see that they're connected.  Remove the radio
and check the connections.  Also, there's a disconnect for the speakers
under the seats, check there first.

Also, the first step is to unzip the headrests, and make sure there are any
IN there !... just because there are holes in the seat doesn't mean that
there are actually any speaks in there..

First thing to check is that there are actually speakers in the head rest.
You can easily do this by unzipping the cover and flipping it down.  My
95 R model did not have speakers and I had to install them myself.  Next
thing to do is check the connectors located under the seat.  Make sure the
speakers are connected.

and just because they are connected under the seat, there's no guarantee
that they are connected to the replacement head unit, so you need to
check there, too.
