My '92 Miata was broken into on Friday and aside from loosing the stereo,
seat covers, floor mats and parcel shelf cover, the headlight
retractor/flasher switch was in pieces. I collected the parts but there
appears to be something missing - I have the buttons and the housing, but
there is no piece with terminals for the plug to plug into.  Anyone
familiar with the innards of this switch?  Is there a circuit board or
something missing and is that what the thieves were after?  If so any
suggestions?  A new switch is almost $200, and I don't carry
comp/collision insurance.

That is curious.  I have had that link for many years, posted it
several times here, and I first got it on this group anyway:

Obviously it was.  My bookmark lists the title as "Gallery automotive"
and that can only have come from the original site web page.
