1991 Mazda MX-6

4-2.5L SOHC

2dr Coupe

Automatic Transmission

153,000 Miles

Runs, and drives great no transmission problems

MAIN PROBLEM:

This car has been great to me and my fiance CeCe however the only problem
that I have not been able to figure out has to do with acceleration. Yeah
we have some power, and its accelerates fine until you hit 4,000RPM's and
than It doesnt go, it trys to but something isnt letting it. If anyone
knows what the problem could be please let me know...

Thanks,
Nicholas

Have you tuned it up? Air Filter, Spark plugs? How about a plugged fuel
filter/screen? These are just guesses, mind you, and since I haven't
experienced anything like that with my 2.2L '90 MX-6 (235,000 miles), I
know, different animal, they may be bad guesses. Good Luck.
