Nah.  They'er front wheel drive and the top doesn't go down. ;)

Same problems with that model.  ;)

More seriously, I haven't driven a 3, but everything I've
read/heard about them is very positive.

I have driven a 6.  It was OK for a big car, but it's really a
Ford with something like 65% North American content.

They are excellent cars with good build quality, reliable engine(s), and
quite responsive drive. Wrt to the Civics, the 3s have better suspension
quality (softer ride) and steering. The Civic has a quiter engine (at
least the 1.4 and 1.6). It is also more expensive in most countries in
Europe.

Many specialized magazines have periodically published comparative tests
between the two and other models. Unfortunately mine are all in Greek
and useless to you I guess ... :-)

Just my 2c.

I haven't driven a civic newer than my friend's '97, but between that and a
Mazda 3, the Mazda feels a LOT better to me.  The civic was what I call a
point-and-click car.  It gets you from point A to point B, but don't expect
to enjoy the driving experience.  The Mazda has a very good feel to it and
while it's no Miata, it is pretty fun to drive for a 4 door.

I have a mazda 3 ts2.0 and it is excellant. Would recommend buying because
of the performance and the comfort I had a 323 sport before and it was
good except the suspension was a bit hard the 3 is far superior.
