Engine revs great in park or neutral but bogs down on long hills due to
having to step on the gas pedal more. Engine bogs down when I punch it in
drive only! No problem punching it in park. Any suggestions as to whats
up? Thanks for any advice.

I just had my mass air-flow sensor replaced on my OTM Subaru.. Was having
similar problem to what you describe & it fixed it 100%. CEL was showing a
few codes but nothing about the MAF sensor. I was fortunate enough to have
a mechanic who didn't just start swapping parts on my tab. It had gotten
bad enough that I'd be going up a long hill on the highway and it'd drop
down below 40mph before I could get the engine to start working again.
Don't know if that would be the same on a rotary, but hope it helps.
