In the last week:

1)  I have a premonition. I see the truck approaching.  A rock, the size of
a bird egg, bouncing, then smacking into my windshield...CRACK!
2)  I drive to a hotel that only has valet parking.  I look at my car, not
wanting to render the keys.  I get it back the next day with a white scrape
on the side.
3)  I leave the top down for 1 hour while I'm inside eating dinner.  A
winged creature not only targets both seats, but leaves gargantuan deposits
on my hood.

This is not good.

Your karma must be well into the red. Perhaps you need to spend more
time helping little old ladies across the street, or volunteering in a
soup kitchen?

Also, don't park under trees or wires, and stay in cheaper motels, or
camp. As for the rock...I hit one that cost my insurance company $4k.
Sometimes they're simply unavoidable.

Best way I've found to get my karma back into the black is to put the top
down and spend some quality time in my Miata.  The old girl always puts a
smile on my face.
