Airbag S-Sensor Light

All,

My airbag light on my 93C Miata is blinking 4 times, pause, 4 times, pause,
etc... According to Miata.Net's information, this blink code means my
S-Sensor is bad. A friend of mine said he had the same issue but it turned
out to be his Airbag Electronics module, not his S-Sensor.

Is there a test I can run? Has anyone else had this problem? Is it common?

Fascinating My '92 just last week started to exhibit the same airbag
warning.

Will be interesting to read replies to your query.

Now I'm not a conspiracy freak and I'm sure the chances of this
happening at the same time is pure coincidence, but the government just
last week......:-)
