Anyone know if the rear end (differential) is swappable between an
automatic tramission car and a manual one?

Check the tag, if the gear ratios are the same there's no problem, if they
are different you have to decide if it's a change you can live with...

Does your car have a limited slip diff? The automatics do not. What is your
rear end ratio? Some are 4.30 and some of the automatics come with the
taller 4.10.

I have been told there is no difference between the rear ends on Automatics
and manuals.
Just make sure the ratio is what you want, putting the wrong ratio in an
Auto is a sure way  to ruin the car, unless of course you do have enough
power to reach that 255mph ;)

Cheers Mark.
