Hello everyone,

My Buffalo, NY  '92 Miata with 41,000 miles on it just developed a tiny
crack approx 1.5mm long near a place where the top folds when it is
moved up or down (middle right side.)

The top stays down most of the summer, as I only use it in good weather
for pleasure driving.....except in a really heavy rain when I will take
it onto a highway to clean out the undercarriage.

In the winter it is stored top up, in a low humidity area where it
doesn't even get any rust on the rotors.

Is there anything that I can put on this tiny crack to seal it while it
is so small...about 3 pinholes long...that will keep it from growing?
The top  is otherwise perfect including the plastic widow.

Thank you for your help,

Mike

Maybe try gluing a piece of vinyl from below?

Mazda gives part numbers nay1 r1 211 for the sheet and
k180 w0 313 or equivalent for the glue.

Call a boat shop... their upholstery guys specialize in that kind of stuff.
