Some @#$ole in what must have been a rolling monument to
environmental disaster ran into my front bumber while I
was parked at work and messed up my bumper, hood and one
of the lights.  I had it repaired, but now the gap
between the hood and the front bumper seems to be more
than it was before.  At least on the left side it is
wider than the right side (by the lights) and there is a
gap under the left side light rubber gasket.  I am going
to take the car back to have the body shop straighten out
the bumper, but I would like to know what the space is
between the hood and the front bumper.  Mine seems too
wide now, compared to what I remember.  Cans someone give
me the dimension, please?

Thanks,
Dave

Patience Dave, patience ;-)

On my 99 I'd say the gap is almost exactly 1/4". Also, I'd say the gap
although large is almost exactly equal to the gaps between the hood and the
quarter panels.

Thanks,

I don't know why this Microsoft explorer sent 2 messages like that.
