Folks,
I have a '92 Miata with about 120,000 miles on it. For the last couple
of months I have had trouble starting it when the engine is warm. I
rarely do this but when it happens I am sweating it as it cranks and
takes me some time to start it. At that time I can smell a lot of
gasoline. I've always been able to start it but it has had me worried.
I have taken it into my usual shop, they did a 60K tune up, and before
that the catalytic converter was filled with carbon so they replaced
that. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Please let me know
how you solved it. This car has no air conditioning, now power
windows, etc.
Sincerely,
Judith
