MI5 Persecution: Chris Tarrant - 10/March/1999 (6874)
Am I missing something here???
I don't get it..
What does this and the twenty six other articles have to do with Miatas?
I have to admit that after the first or second one that I glanced over, I
lost
interest and
noticed that niether one had anything to do with Mazdas or Miatas.
It must have been mis-directed or something by the "MI5" thing.
It looks as if this same bunch of articles is going out to six different
sites that don't seem to have anything in common.
I'm all for speaking your mind on off topic things as a way to keep it fresh
but I just can't follow this.
Am I the only one here that noticed this?
I love my Miata and want to share in your knowledge of the mark.
By the way, anyone see the latest episode of "So You Think You Can
Dance"?(just kidding).
I am a "newby" to Maitas and this list so if I'm out of line here, please
tell me and I'll never mention it again.

I guess I AM missing something since none of you had anything to say about
my post.
Guess I'll just live with it like the rest of you.

Set a filter in your newsreader to kill all articles with a comma ( , )
in the Newsgroups header. This sort of crap is always crossposted to
multiple groups, with commas between the group names. Out of sight, out
of mind...

I already commented on the same question in another thread:

If it's really annoying you, learn to use your newsreaders
killfile feature.

Kill File??? Where's that?
How do I use it?
Please excuse my ignorance. I just found the newsgroups function
recently and haven't tried all of the ammenities.

Perhaps I can help. Google is a search engine that allows you
to find web pages that contain key words or phrases. When you
want to know what something is, searching for it on google is
always a good bet.

I should add that since you don't say what newsreader you're
using, it's not going to be possible to provide any detailed
help. I use slrn, and it uses a scorefile instead of a killfile:
http://alcor.concordia.ca/topics/netnews/slrn/doc/score.html

The headers show Windows Mail. The help files will show how to
killfile someone.
