I've been running Falken Ziex-512s on my '97 daily driver through two
sets of tires and have been happy with them.  Now I see that they have
been replaced by the Ziex-912s.  I did a quick search and found
several comments stating that the 912s handle very poorly due to
"softer" sidewalls.  Has anyone here in Miataland made this switch or
tried the 912s?

Thanks for any replies.

I also have ZE-512s and have heard the same...
but discounttiredirect.com still sells the ZE-512s in both 195/50/15 and
185/60/14.
they also have user reviews on thier site and one for the 912 is from a 512
user that sumed it up as the 512 was designed for handeling and grip and the
912 for comfort and noise.
