The shift boot in my '94 "C" is shot.  Where is the best deal on a new one
other than the $60 at my local dealer?

Is this the external one or the 2 inner shift boots?  The 2 inner boots can
be had from www.trussvillemazda.com for around $35 and if never changed
before will be shot.  Might care to ask Marshall how much for the external
one right away and save on shipping. I buy my Mazda oil filters and new
crush rings every time I have them ship stuff too.

If it's the outer boot, I have a solution.  I bought some fine leather and
made my own.  It just entails removing 9 screws, using the old one for a
pattern, and voila!  A beautiful (cheap) new boot!

I suppose if I knew how to sew and had a machine, I could do that.  Do you
want to make me one Candy?
