Hi,
I understand that the Miata VIN numbers are not quite the same as the Eunos
Roadster VIN numbers?
I am looking for a new engine as my Eunos Roadster has the infamous
short-nose crank problem, but am getting confused about the VIN numbers.
Miata.net informs me that I need VIN numbers of 209447 or above to be safe,
yet most Eunos Roadster VIN numbers seem to start with 127*** .
Can anyone shed any light? What is the vital breakpoint of the Eunos
Roadster cars?
Many thanks!

I am pretty sure that VIN's were the same. Eunos roadsters my have been
built before the North American models hence the lower VIN?
Find yourself a JDM 1.6 from a 92 or a 93.
