I just purchased a 1996 Millenia L. The stock stereo is not working
properly. While the tuner seeks and locates stations and CD's display as if
they are playing, no sound comes out. Does anyone have any ideas as to what
may be causing this and how I can fix it?
Thanks,

Could be a loose connector in the back to the speakers. Have you tried
adjusting fade/balance to see if maybe one speaker can emit sound?
Purchase a DIN removal tool off eBay or some auto parts store. Remove the
plastic trim strip on each side of the stereo (aka HU) and insert the DIN
tools to unlatch the HU. Slide out the HU and check the connections in the
back. If all looks good, the HU is probably shot.
