So, I'm driving a 99 Corvette 6-speed right now. But I'm looking for
something for the future. I drive hard (especially round corners) - but I
live in Phoenix. An example of my driving might be the 93mph in a 40mph
ticket I received this year on my normal morning commute.

So, my question is - what happens when you put an RX-8 & MX5 Mazdaspeed on
the track together ? Who wins & why ? I'm curious that Mazda appears to be
marketing 2 cars with somewhat overlapping characteristics.

I know.....I'm ignorant - I drove a 99 Camaro SS 6-pseed before the
Corvette. I'm gradually getting refined :-)

Ok quit trying to be me :-)

It may seem like that but you are forgetting something:  The Rx8 is a
hardtop 4 door sportscar (4 seats) and the miata is a small 2 seater
convertible.

Do you need 4 seats?  and which styling do you like better?

I am sure a Mazdaspeed rx8 is in the works :-) (see the most recent
issue of Speed magazine)
