How can I find out if this is a non-clearance motor. If the timing belt
breaks, does the top end jam up or is there room enoughfor the valves.
thanks

What car or truck is it installed in? Go to http://www.autozone.com
and look up the timing belt. It will tell you if it is an 'Interference
application'.
