We are the original owners of an 82 RX-7 that we intend on keeping. The
original engine had a rotor seal problem that was resolved by replacing the
engine with one from a wrecked RX-7. Everything was fine for about 3 years.
Not sure what the parts are officially called, but if you look at how the
engine is assembled, there is a slow leak between the front "cap" and the
main engine rotor housing.

My understanding is that this is not a gasketed assembly. I can clean off
the oil and in a day there is oil seeping out of the top front drivers side
of the engine assembly between the front cap and main housing. Any thoughts
on how to stop this leak? Could it simply be loose bolts or is this
something more serious.

Thanks, I can email photos for better understanding, let me know.
