Check out the Focus group a lot of people comment about gas mileage some
good some not so good.

They are built on the same chassis. Same engine HP. Similar weight. Very
similar CD. You would think that they were made my the same company?

Rumor has it (possible as early as '05) is that most of the manufactures who
make this style of car...Ford and Mazda are not the only ones...are going to

Take the EPA numbers with a grain of salt.
I have a Millenia S, rated for 28/35. I get just over 20 mpg on mostly
highway driving. Apparently, once you go over the old double-nickel standard
of 55 mph, milage drops significantly on some cars.
