Small white knob in trunk

Sorry to be so stupid, their is a small white knob on the left side in the
trunk, behind a flap. Its a 1991 190E 2.6. Just wondering what part it
plays. Thanks in advance, Ken

Don't touch it!  It fine tunes the flux capacitor.

No, not really...... it is the adjustment knob for the sun roof. No need to play with it unless you
replace the lifting bridges etc.
