A friend of mine was clearing out their loft / attic and came across
some boxes of car parts.

The boxes all have 1955 300SL written on them and they contain the
following brand new parts.

1 Speedo
1 Rev counter
1 Water temperature gauge
1 Fuel gauge
2 oil pressure gauges (with pipe-work)

2 boxed cables, at a guess for the rev counter
4 Chrome headlamp surrounds and backings.

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who may be interested in
them, preferably in the UK ?

And my first thought, but I cant help thinking that they might be a bit
specialised for ebay.

Maybe, maybe not. Frankly I doubt it. I've seen vintage Bugatti parts on ebay.

You'll get more, I suspect, but you will probably have to wait longer in a print
specialist publication. John Olsons SL Market Newletter comes to mind, slmarket.com
