Title says it all. Battery went bad and was replaced. I was rev'ing it and
found the miss. Don't know if it was there before. It doesn't seem to affect
driving. Any ideas?

When was the fuel filter last replaced? When they clog they work at low RPM
but not at high RPM.

Recent MBs will cut out at some point above 4k rpm if the car is in park.
It is a safety feature of some sort.
