Just received a rebuilt Bosch alternator, and I also bought a voltage
regulator.  Where does the voltage regulator connect to, the alternator
itself?

If you take out your old alternator...  on the back, remove the back
cover... and you will see where the voltage regulator goes..

Voltage regulator is not only the regulator but also the brushes that wears
out..
