Parking Brake

1984 300D Turbo.  I've adjusted the star wheels on the parking brake,
but pedal still has too much travel.  Where is the next adjustment?
SPECIFIC location for cable or foot pedal adjustments would be
appreciated.

Before ajusting the cable you have to adjust the pads. There are holes
in in the wheels and if you turn the hole to 2 o'clock  you see a
thoothed screw inside. Turn it tooth ba toth until the wheel is blocked,
then release it about one full turn backwards.

Sorry, I didn't read. Now you have to shorten the cable length at the
bolt behind the transmission atop the drive train.
