Merc V/ Vito Class 2.2 Turbo Diesel Thermostat location?

Year of manufacture 2001

Anyone know where the engine coolant thermostat is on this model?

I can't see an obvious thermostat housing.

Seems to be located inside the connector to the rubber hose to radiator
top right front side of engine

Thanks for the info, I will have another look next time I have access to the
vehicle.

That's what and where I was looking for it, I may have missed it or it may
be different.
