What are the differences between a 1982 and a 1985 300CD Turbo Diesel?

The torque converter was changed slightly, to lower emissions. The
engines are the same except for variations in emissions and turbocharger
manufacturer. None of these differences are really material, the quality
of the car under consideration is the key point.
