Crime, and Gives a Reason for it--Five Children Left Motherless.

Yesterday, shortly after noon, three men residing at Connor's Creek, about
five miles out on the Gratiot road, came to this city, having in their
custody one JOHN HANLY alias COOPER ( alias LC ), who had, about 12 o'clock
on that day, murdered his own sister in cold blood, having almost literally
chopped her to pieces with an ax.
