Does anyone know what the ohm out is for a fuel sending unit in a 1988
260E?  Or any other way of testing it?

Would the sending unit also be the culprit when you start up a '97 ML320 and
you have a little under half a tank, and the next time you start up, you're
under 1/4 with the light on.. then the next time, you're back up again?
