hi i have a 2001 e320 cdi which smokes an awful lot under heavy acceleration
on an earlier post it was suggested i had a 'leaking injector' I went to an
independant merc agent who confirmed this took over ?500off me and said it
was fine.
driving on the way home every time i put my foot down and the turbo kicked
in i got a big cloud of smoke comming out of the back, which is quite
embarrising for me and mercedes alike. (if i was following me it would put
me off buying a mercedes deisel) what can I do, do I have any come back on
the independant specialist as they have not solved my problem. or do you
think mercedes would help as it would probably cost the sales any ideas
please I cant keep forking out and not getting a result

This sounds like a typical turbo problem...like you said... when turbo
kicked in... The car is 2001... I guess it must be out of warranty at this
time? You must be losing engine oil at this time too.
