300e seat switch

i would like to change the
power seat switch on my 92 300E
how involve is this
do i have to remove the door panel?
if so how difficult is it

You just can take the switch cover(plastic) off then you'll see the
screws.
BTW, you might not need new switch, just cleaning will be sufficient!
If you do that be careful not to lost any ball and spring.
each switch has two balls and on spring, etc.
one knob has one or two switches.
