Hoppecke no longer supply the batteries branded as Mercedes' own.  Anyone
know who now supplies them, or can recommend an alternative?

Just go pick up replacement battery at Autozone... cheapest and best
warranty. Their battery is made by Johnson Control... largest battery
supplier.

MB still use Varta in the UK.
