Just had Tempmatic A/C system recharged on 1992 190E 2.6 with 135000 miles. It took 1.5 pounds of R12 (blowing ice cold) A/C Tech wanted to check high pressure end, but was not familiar with Mercedes and could not find it , neither could I. What is the location of this valve and and what damage could be done by not having checked this pressure? Supposed to be by the drier. Around the headlight. Open the hood.
