My 91 300SE started whining even in Nuetral or park. Then it started leaking
trans fluid all over from the torque converter area in front of the
transmission. Any ideas what's going on. How does the converter get it's oil?
Thanks in advance

The transmission's pump fills the torque converter.

If oil is leaking / pouring out it's too late for anything but a tow to
the transmission shop.
